Today I wanted to do something relaxing. It's a sunny winter's day here. We had a fresh snowfall overnight - just enough snow to whiten & brighten! Ooooh - to have sunshine all day... I just wanted to bask in the glory... Ok - reality check... Back to the sad state of my craft room and the fact that I need to get it organized!
I have a mountain of stamps that I've been collecting over the past couple of years and I decided that it's finally time to make my life a little easier.
If you're like me you start a project with a few stamps. You begin by pulling one out of this set, a couple out of that set, add a few more from the shelf... Before you know it you're looking at a pile of mismatched stamps and realize that it's utter chaos! I find myself wondering which stamps go with which sets?
I decided the simplest solution, is to place a piece of paper inside each clear plastic cover with the stamped image of each stamp in that set!
Although I have to invest my time to do this right now - what an easy task I will have when I put away my stamps! Ok, 3 stamps sets done... How many to go???
I'd better get back to the craft room!

Your craft room is absolutely inspiring! I just moved a year ago and so I it's now time to devote time to organizing my happy place! Thanks for the inspiration.
Give you an even faster tip to do this. Copy your label sheet before you separate the labels and just tape it in the lid. A fellow demo put me on to this. It's great.

I love your idea for organizing the stamp sets in the plastic boxes w/ the paper of stamps!
I have been working on getting the right layout for myself in my craft room. I might be almost done; now to make it a more inspirational space!
What a great space! Those stamp organizers are really cool! Where did you purchase them?
The little clear containers that the stamps are in come with the stamps from Stampin' Up! Each container has a stamp set inside and you stick the label with the name of the stamp set on the edge of the clear box...
Some of the boxes you see on this blogpost have 1 large background stamp in it, other sets have 4 stamps, some have as many as 11 or 12...
I just love my rubber stamp collection from Stampin' Up!
