Celebrating Mother's Day

Mother's Day has always meant a lot to me as I am so thankful for my mother. She's a wonderful person that I've come to admire in my adulthood. She's intelligent, talented, and creative. She taught me that I can be anything I choose to be and I know my love of crafting comes from her for sure! We've made so many great memories over the years and hopefully will have many more yet to be made. I love picking out a special card & gift for her each year. I finally got back to my "roots" and created a hand-made card for her this mother's day.

I've also created a 8x8 double page layout in honour of my mom.

Of course I'm especially excited about Mother's Day this year as it will have a whole new meaning for me. I am celebrating 17 and 1/2 weeks of pregnancy and looking forward to becoming a mother myself!

Here's to mothers and mothers-to-be...

Wishing you all a very Happy Mother's Day!

How do you celebrate Mother's Day?
Do you take your mom out for lunch?
Do you make her breakfast?
Do you phone her and tell her how much she means to you?
Have you made a scrapbook layout to honour your mother's memory?

Hi, Shelley!!

Glad you had a good Mother's Day.

I spend mine being pampered by my 2 more or less competant and independent kids. I get showered with gift and I'm "Queen Lori" for a day. We do what ever I want, eat whatever I want and no argueing from the kids is allowed. Heaven!

You'll progress to this as well.

I nearly always make my mom her mother's Day gift, but because she lives at the other end of the country now, I don't get to see. her for special holidays.

See ya around!
