I'm 16 weeks pregnant this week!
It has been a week touched with a sad note though as my grandfather passed away April 25.
He was my last grandparent.
At the same time though I am reminded of the amazing family I have around me... My mom's parents had 11 children (my mom is oldest)... There are 38 grandchildren (I am the oldest)... Currently there are 15 great grandchildren and 3 more on the way this year including my 1st baby...
This week I was able to visit my big family... Aunts & Uncles, cousins galore! So take all those relatives, plus spouses, girlfriends and boyfriends... whew! We took time to look at photos and share stories & memories... Some photos I hadn't even seen before!
I know I have a lot of scrapbooking to get done... What better way to preserve these memories and pass them on to my baby! Not only the many photos, but I need to gather the stories once told by my grandfather. And what a story teller he was... He'd be upfront and say "some of it may be fact and some may be fiction... It's up to you to sort out which is which".
Stories now to be told by my aunts & uncles and soon to be added to my scrapbooks.
